(New Video Post) “Finding YourSelf” #SelfLove with @MayasWorld & @BestNewActress

Happy Self Love Saturday!

I’m in sunny Los Angeles and I asked my friends Maya Washington and Iman Milner to join me on this lovely Saturday by asking them, “how did you find yourself?” I believe a big part of self love is finding yourself, when you begin to find yourself you immediately start a self love journey and also in starting a self love journey you can begin to find yourself so pretty much one hand washes the other and both parts play a big role in being true to yourself and having self love! Have you found yourself yet? And how did you do that?

In your twenties you really start to find your true self. They say you don’t really truly understand who you are until you are in your 30’s.
I find the older I become(mid twenties) the more I finally understand who I am as a person- my likes and dislike, my whys,my views, and my voice. This journey has been crazy for me but I can honestly say I enjoy every bit of it. It is an amazing feeling.
    Self Love Saturdays Rock!!!

Why can’t I have girlfriends like this? @ Andrea Lewis thank you for sharing your videos I really appreciate it!

I am in my late 20s and I am too just now starting my journey and I’m still pursuing my dreams i’m in college STILL basically. I understand that YOU MUST LOVE YOURSELF FIRST before anyone else can love you and I do I really have accepted myself for who I am. But it’s even better when you have young women the same age as you who dig you just as much as you dig yourself and vice versa. Thing is I’ve been going to different events instead of the “club scene” like in the arts and music scene because i’m a Fine Arts major. The thing is the majority of my “friends” are already graduated and are in the medical field, teaching etc. and some of them have kids etc. We have nothing in common and they tend to do things with each other and exclude me out of events. So just last year I realized that I really don’t have any REAL FRIENDS! I’m all for letting people WALK OUT OF MY LIFE because they weren’t meant to stay in the first place. But i’m glad I have family who LOVE me for who I am now i’m just on the search to fine FRIENDS who are really here for me!

Again I just thank you for posting these videos when you can because it’s like therapy and words of encouragement. I think if we had more women like you, Maya and Iman US as young women would get along better. But now a days it’s like young women don’t wanna support each other anymore it’s competition, which is fine but not if it’s done in a immature and devious way.

I think too many people sit around wondering ‘who they are’ instead creating the person they want to be. It makes more sense to work towards being the best version of yourself than to sit around looking for something that hasn’t been created yet.
